Job summary

S.E.T., Inc. is seeking an Estimator to lead estimating efforts for Heavy Highway, Bridge Reconstruction, and Underground Utility projects in Ohio.

You’ll develop competitive bid packages, analyze costs, and coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to win bids. The successful candidate has a degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering and 3–5 years of estimating experience, with strong analytical skills and proficiency in Bluebeam and Microsoft 365.

Qualifications

• Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• 3–5 years of Construction Estimating experience.
• Ability to read construction drawings and understand civil construction methods.

Responsibilities

• Estimating & Bid Preparation — Review construction plans and specifications to determine project scope.
• Subcontractor & Supplier Solicitation — Solicit, compare, and level subcontractor and supplier pricing.
• Opportunity Development & Handoff — Research new Heavy Highway and civil construction bid opportunities and hand off awarded projects to the Project Manager.
