Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals seeks a Technician 1 in North Carolina to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on a variety of equipment, including aerial platforms, pumps, and HVAC gear. You will work with a safety-focused team to minimize downtime and grow your skills toward service or operations management.

Required is a high school diploma or GED, with 1–3 years of technician experience on diesel or heavy equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; some trade school or equivalent training desired.
• 1 to 3 years of Technician experience with diesel equipment, heavy construction equipment or specialty lines equipment (large-scale generators, pumps, HVAC or Oil & Gas equipment) strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of hydraulic systems and troubleshooting fundamentals.
• Knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting fundamentals.
• Ability to be flexible with changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Bilingual (Spanish or Other) may be required based on location needs.
