Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals, Inc. is seeking a Technician I in Gastonia, NC. The role focuses on preventive maintenance and repairs across a broad range of equipment to minimize downtime.

You will work with a safety-first team, on diverse makes and models, and gain exposure to multiple product lines. Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED and 1–3 years of technician experience with diesel or heavy equipment, plus knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; some trade school or training desired.
• 1–3 years of Technician experience with diesel equipment, heavy construction equipment or specialty lines equipment.
• Knowledge of hydraulic systems and troubleshooting fundamentals; knowledge of electrical systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment.
• Operate on a variety of makes, models and equipment.
