Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals in Colfax, NC is seeking a Technician 1 to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on a diverse fleet including aerial work platforms, pumps, HVAC gear, and general construction tools. You will gain experience across makes and models in a safety-first team.

Typical qualifications include a high school diploma or GED with 1–3 years of diesel or heavy equipment experience, plus knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems. Training and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; trade school or equivalent training desired.
• 1–3 years of Technician experience with diesel equipment, heavy construction equipment or specialty lines equipment strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems; ability to troubleshoot effectively.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment to minimize downtime.
• Work with a diverse fleet including Aerial Work Platforms, general construction tools, pumps, HVAC and oil/gas equipment.
• Operate in a safety-focused environment and follow all safety procedures.
