Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is hiring a Mechanic in Gilbert, AZ to perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on a wide range of equipment including aerial platforms and power gensets. You will work with a skilled team in a safety-focused environment and use your diesel, hydraulic, and electrical expertise daily.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of mechanic experience, a high school diploma or GED, and may have trade training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; trade school training desired.
• 3–5 years of mechanic experience with diesel or heavy equipment preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on equipment.
• Work with a variety of makes, models and equipment in a safety-focused environment.
• Keep accurate service records and operate tools of the trade as needed.
• Assist in shop and field maintenance as required by location.
