Job summary

Axon in Sterling, VA is seeking an entry-level Electrical Engineer to build hardware with hands-on bench work and grow into design ownership. You will work across harnesses, PCBs, and lab responsibilities in a hybrid role onsite Tuesday through Friday.

You’ll collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and firmware engineers while growing skills in schematic capture and test plans, under mentorship and a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• 0–3 years of professional experience; internships etc. count.
• Hands-on proficiency with soldering, rework, and cable/harness assembly.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and test PCBs, harnesses, and assemblies following schematics and IPC standards.
• Design cable assemblies and wire harnesses with proper derating, grounding and labeling.
• Lay out PCBs from senior engineers' schematics and prepare fab/assembly packages.
• Perform hardware bring-up, functional test, and debug with lab equipment.
