Job summary
Syska Hennessy Group in New York is seeking an entry level Electrical Engineer to join our Engineering Development Training program. You will support our engineering teams on designs that are inspiring and highly collaborative.
The role offers learning from senior staff, exposure to CAD/BIM, and opportunities to grow within a global engineering firm. A Bachelor's in Electrical or Architectural Engineering and an internship are required; FE/EIT is a plus.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering.
- Graduation date Winter 2026, Spring or Summer of 2027.
- FE or EIT preferred.
- Engineering internship is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Create basic designs under supervision of the senior engineer or senior designer.
- Learn drawing organization and company standards.
- Perform CAD/BIM drafting for various projects and sizes.
- Coordinate with other trades under guidance of senior staff.
- Assist design and engineering efforts for new installations, retrofits, upgrades.
- Take ownership of work quality and timeliness.
- Assist engineers with field investigations and site visits.
- Attend EDT program training sessions.
