Job summary
Syska Hennessy Group, a global engineering and consulting firm, is seeking an entry level Electrical Engineering Graduate in San Diego. You will join a collaborative team, participate in the Engineer Development Training (EDT) program, and support CAD/BIM drafting and design activities across projects.
Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s in Electrical or Architectural Engineering, anticipate Winter 2026 or Spring/Summer 2027 graduation, and may have FE/EIT; internship experience is a plus.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical engineering or Architectural Engineering with expected graduation Winter 2026, Spring or Summer 2027.
- FE or EIT is preferred and helpful for progression.
- Internship experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Create basic designs under supervision of senior engineers/senior designers.
- Learn drawing organization and company standards.
- Perform CAD/BIM drafting for varied projects and sizes.
- Coordinate designs with architectural, internal and external trades.
- Support design and engineering for new installations, upgrades, retrofits.
- Ensure completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of work.
- Assist engineers with field investigations and site visits.
- Attend Engineering Development Training (EDT) program sessions.
