P2S|CMTA in Long Beach, CA is seeking an Entry-Level Electrical Design Engineer to support the pre-design and design phases of commercial, institutional, and healthcare building projects under the guidance of experienced engineers.

This role offers hands-on exposure to electrical building systems design, project coordination, and engineering analysis, with opportunities to learn software tools, perform calculations, prepare diagrams, load schedules, and contribute to high-quality solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Engineer-In-Training (EIT) certification preferred or ability to obtain.
• LEED Accreditation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support pre-design and design phases for commercial, institutional, and healthcare building projects under guidance of experienced engineers.
• Assist with electrical calculations, single-line diagrams, load schedules, lighting systems, and power distribution design.
• Gain experience using industry-standard software tools, supporting power system studies, and delivering high-quality engineering solutions.
• Collaborate with engineers to deliver reliable and efficient electrical designs.
