Aerotek is hiring an Electrical Assembler in Machesney Park, IL. This role focuses on assembling electrical and mechanical parts, following drawings, and ensuring quality. Training is available; prior electrical experience is a plus but not required.

The position is contract-to-hire with a focus on reliability and safety in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. Pay ranges from $20.00 to $23.00 per hour, with benefits available from Day 1 and company-provided tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electrical and mechanical components using hand and power tools.
• Follow blueprints, diagrams, work instructions, and assembly drawings.
• Assist with wiring, routing, connecting, and securing electrical components.
• Perform mechanical assembly on equipment and machine components.
• Measure and inspect parts to ensure quality standards are met.
• Use drills, screwdrivers, wrenches, and tape measures.
• Troubleshoot basic assembly issues and make adjustments as needed.
• Work safely while maintaining production and quality goals.
• Support team members and help meet daily production schedules.

What You'll Do

• Assemble electrical and mechanical components using hand and power tools

What We're Looking For

• Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Reliable attendance and positive attitude

Preferred but Not Required

• Previous electrical assembly or wiring experience
• Experience reading electrical schematics
• Experience with crimping, panel assembly, or machine assembly
• Technical school, vocational training, or electrical coursework
• Experience using measuring tools such as tape measures and calipers

Job Type & Location

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
