Job summary

Granite Construction Incorporated is seeking an entry-level Drill Tech to support a crew on a mineral drilling site. The role requires rotating shifts and travel with reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.

You will assist with lifting materials, operate site equipment, and help maintain safety, quality, and documentation on the job site. Strong teamwork and basic math skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Construction site or outdoor industry experience preferred.
• Must be able to travel and be away from home for up to 2 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to safety and quality procedures.
• Lift/move drill pipe and materials up to 50 lbs and assist with up to 100 lbs.
• Collaborate with drilling crew and work independently to achieve goals.
• Operate and maintain service trucks and site equipment.
• Assist with transporting rigs and setting up sites.
• Complete daily paperwork for time/material records.
• Collect and label drill samples for analysis.
• Perform additional duties to support team objectives.
