Job summary

Granite Construction Incorporated seeks Drill Techs to join their team in Elko, Nevada. These entry level positions work as part of a small crew on mineral drilling sites, supporting drilling operations and site logistics.

Ideal candidates are dependable, able to travel for up to two weeks at a time, and comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions. Travel is a core element of the role, with overnight stays required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to travel and be away from home for up to 2 weeks.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally.
• Stand for 10–12 hour shifts.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather and follow safety procedures.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Organizational skills and ability to work in small teams.
• Proficient in basic math.
• Comply with safety procedures and code of conduct.
