Job summary

OU Health in downtown Oklahoma City is seeking an entry-level Document Imaging Technician I to organize, scan, index and manage records. You will convert paper to electronic formats, ensure correct patient matching, and operate OnBase and Epic imaging tools with high accuracy.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, confidentiality, and teamwork within a fast-paced HIM environment. Candidates may advance through levels based on experience and performance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• No experience required for Level 1.
• 3–5 years of health information/document imaging for Level 2/3.

Responsibilities

• Organize, scan, index, and maintain records accurately.
• Verify patient identifiers and assign to correct patient/CSN.
• Operate OnBase or Epic imaging tools and ensure data quality.
• Participate in quality audits and maintain HIPAA compliance.
• Support confidentiality and secure handling of information.
