Job summary

Memorial Health System of Southwest Oklahoma is seeking an HIM Technician to ensure timely processing of patient records. The role involves receiving, organizing, and indexing inpatient, outpatient, and ED records, then scanning them into Horizon Patient Folder daily with high accuracy.

The technician will also maintain scanning equipment, verify chart completion, and assist with requests for information. A high school diploma or GED is required, with strong typing and computer skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Scan documents daily and maintain scanning equipment.
• Notify practitioners of incomplete records and assist with releases of information.
