Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY customer and hit sales/service goals. You will learn store systems, automotive basics, and parts knowledge while assisting customers in-store and by phone.

You will perform battery installs, wiper installs, inventory tasks, and ensure clean, organized shelves. This role requires flexible days, evenings, and weekends, with safety as a priority.

Qualifications

• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus.
• Read and interpret safety and maintenance documents and parts catalogs.
• Use basic math for transactions and measurements.
• Availability to work days, evenings, and weekends as needed.
• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goal and help store achieve its sales goals.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Responsible for inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, and back stock.
• Store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, parking lot.
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
