Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business and meet sales/service objectives. The role requires basic knowledge of store systems, automotive parts, and inventory maintenance.

It can be part-time or full-time, with fleet safety certification preferred. The candidate will provide excellent selling experiences for DIY customers, aim to meet personal and store sales goals, and perform DIY services such as battery installation and wiper replacements.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Speak and write English.
• Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goal and help store achieve its sales goals.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
