Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business and meet sales/service objectives. The role requires basic knowledge of store systems, automotive parts, and customer interactions. Part-time or full-time availability, with driving and tool knowledge as a plus.

The position emphasizes delivering battery tests, wiper installs, and friendly service while maintaining inventory accuracy and store standards in a retail environment.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Ability to use basic store systems and parts lookup tools.
• Speak and write English (Spanish a plus); communicate effectively with customers, peers and management.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goal and help store achieve its sales goals.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Responsible for inventory processes including truck put away, shoot outs, cycle counts, Back stock, etc.
• Store Cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, parking lot.
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
