Job summary

Advance Auto Parts seeks an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business and achieve sales/service goals. Knowledge of store systems, basic automotive parts and battery/wiper services are required. Part-time or full-time; fleet safety certification preferred.

Responsibilities include assisting customers, processing sales, stocking, and inventory control, with occasional delivery of parts and safe handling of equipment.

Qualifications

• Speak and write English; communicate effectively with customers and team.
• Read safety rules, maintenance instructions, and parts catalogs.
• Accurately perform basic math for transactions and stock counts.
• Will work a varied schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide selling experience for DIY customers in-store and by phone.
• Hit personal sales goals and help achieve store targets.
• Offer DIY services such as battery installations and wiper installs.
• Maintain store product and operating standards.
• Manage inventory processes including put-away, cycle counts, and back stock.
• Keep store clean and stocked; safely deliver parts as needed.
