Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking an entry level Salesperson to support the DIY business and meet sales/service objectives. The role requires knowledge of store systems, basic automotive knowledge, and sourcing from multiple channels.

Part-time or full-time availability with fleet safety certification preferred. The position emphasizes customer interactions, service quality, and accurate inventory handling, including deliveries when needed.

Qualifications

2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
Ability to work days, evenings and weekends as needed.
Basic automotive knowledge and parts sourcing ability.
English required; Spanish a plus.
Valid driver's license and ability to drive.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
Achieve personal sales goal and help store achieve its sales goals.
Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
Maintain store product and operational standards.
Responsible for inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, Back stock, etc.
Store Cleanliness and general stocking including truck stocking and back stock.
Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
