Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business and drive sales. You will have knowledge of store systems, basic automotive parts, and parts sourcing from stores, hubs, and suppliers.

The role can be part-time or full-time and requires knowledge of inventory maintenance and safety. Ideal candidates will provide excellent customer service, perform DIY services like battery installs, and help maintain high store standards.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Basic automotive knowledge and ability to source parts.
• Ability to work days, evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers in person and by phone.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help store reach its targets.
• Offer DIY services including battery installation and wiper installs.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Manage inventory processes including put away, cycle counts, and back stock.
• Keep store clean and stocked; assist with truck stocking and back stock.
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
