Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking an entry-level Electrical Engineer to join the Display Products team in Cedar Rapids. You will design, test, analyze, integrate, qualify, and document new electrical hardware for commercial and military avionics displays, collaborating with cross-functional teams.

You will mentor with Display engineers, address hardware issues, and contribute to documentation and qualification testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related STEM major obtained by start date.
• Experience with Digital Electronics, Mixed Signal, Circuit Design or Analysis, Electrical Components, Digital Signal Processing or PCB design.
• Experience using CAD tools or layout software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, test, analyze, integrate, qualify, and document new electrical hardware.
• Develop, test, and document changes to existing hardware designs.
• Support fielded and in-production issues with legacy hardware.
• Work closely with other engineering disciplines to ensure electrical design is appropriate for the application.
• Participate in cross-functional team efforts in integration, pre-qualification, and qualification for products and subsystems.
