RTX's Collins Aerospace division in Cedar Rapids is seeking an entry-level Electrical Engineering professional to join the Display Products team. You will design and test electrical hardware for displays used in avionics and ground vehicles, mentored by senior engineers, with opportunities to lead small projects.

This role emphasizes hands-on problem solving, collaboration across disciplines, and learning through real-world product development in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related STEM major obtained by start date.
• Experience with one or more of the following: Digital Electronics, Mixed Signal, Circuit Design or Analysis, Electrical Components, Digital Signal Processing or PCB design.
• Experience using common electronic test and measurement equipment such as oscilloscopes, vector network analyzers (VNAs) digital multimeters (DMMs) and signal generators for circuit characterization, debugging and validation.

Responsibilities

• Design, test, analyze, integrate, qualify, and document new electrical hardware.
• Develop, test, and document changes to existing hardware designs.
• Support fielded and in-production issues with legacy hardware.
• Work closely with other engineering disciplines (ie. mechanical and systems engineering) to ensure electrical design is appropriate for the given application.
• Participate in cross-functional team efforts in integration, pre-qualification, and qualification for products and subsystems.
