Job summary

People Incorporated is seeking Direct Care Professionals to support adults with development disabilities in a residential setting. The role offers part-time daytime hours with a pay rate of $21.00 per hour, rising to $22.00 after one year of benefit-eligible employment.

Shifts include 2nd and 3rd, with opportunities in Mansfield, Taunton, Fall River, and nearby areas. No experience required; extensive on-the-job training and career advancement await.

Qualifications

• Be a compassionate person and enjoy making a difference in someone's life.
• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• A qualifying criminal background check and driving record.
• Valid driver's license; Use of your personal vehicle.
• A TB screening and Physical is required upon hire and a TB update every two years after.

Responsibilities

• Support adults with developmental disabilities in a residential program.
• Assist with daily activities and maintain a structured routine.
• Include: meal preparation and assistance with activities of daily living.
• Provide personal care and accompany medical appointments.
• Distribute medications as required and coordinate community outings.
• Engage in outings such as movies, shopping, dinners, baseball games, and bowling.
