Job summary

All Roads in Castleton, NY is seeking an Entry Level Heavy Equipment Technician to repair Vermeer machinery. The role offers hands-on training and a clear path to certifications, ideal for someone with a mechanical mindset and trade school background.

You will learn to diagnose diesel and hydraulic systems, perform repairs, document work, and support senior technicians in a fast-paced shop environment with regular daytime hours.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience or completed trade school in heavy equipment repair.
• Mechanically inclined with ability to learn Vermeer equipment.
• Welding ability helpful and willing to learn certifications.

Responsibilities

• Service, repair, and recondition Vermeer Equipment.
• Communicate and follow instructions from senior techs and service manager
• Learn to diagnose equipment malfunctions, experience with hydraulics & electrical helpful
• Welding as needed
• Keep accurate and detailed records of all repairs performed.
• Assist in creating estimates for repair cost
• All other duties as assigned.
