Job summary

All Roads in Castleton is seeking an Entry Level Heavy Equipment Technician to repair Vermeer machinery. If you are mechanically inclined and eager to grow, we want to talk to you.

Responsibilities include servicing, repairing, and reconditioning Vermeer equipment; following instructions from senior techs; learning diagnostics, hydraulics, and electrical; welding as needed; and assisting in cost estimates. The position offers a training path and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience or completed trade school.
• Experience with diesel/heavy equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Service, repair, and recondition Vermeer Equipment.
• Communicate and follow instructions from senior techs and service manager.
• Learn to diagnose equipment malfunctions, hydraulics & electrical knowledge is helpful.
• Welding as needed.
• Keep accurate and detailed records of all repairs performed.
• Assist in creating estimates for repair cost.
• All other duties as assigned.
