Interstate Power Systems - Entry Level Diesel Technician

Interstate Power Systems is seeking Entry Level Diesel Technicians for our Grand Forks, North Dakota location. If you're looking for a career with valuable on-the-job and classroom training, we want to hear from you!

Shift: Monday-Friday

Pay Range: $22 - $29 per hour DOE

Job Duties:

• This is an entry-level position, developing skills while working with Factory Trained/Certified Technicians.
• Perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs on various trucks.
• Conduct PM work, oil changes, light repairs, A/C, brakes, tire changes, and basic tech work.
• Receive training to grow into a full diesel technician role.
• Diagnose, repair, and modify heavy-duty components.
• Maintain positive interactions with service writers, foremen, parts department, and customers.
• Keep work documentation updated and submit upon completion.

Desired Skills and Qualities:

• Technical degree or certification (a plus).
• Positive attitude with goal-setting ability.
• Interest in certification and ongoing training.
• Strong communication skills.
