Interstate Power Systems is looking for Diesel Mechanic(s) for our Grand Forks, North Dakota location. We are seeking Diesel Mechanic/Technician(s) specializing in Freightliner, Detroit, Allison, Cummins, CAT products, MTU, and more! We offer highly competitive wages!

Scheduled Shift: Monday-Friday

Pay Range: $26 - $38 per hour DOE, including up to a $5,000 Sign-on Bonus!

Diesel Mechanic/Technician Job Duties:

• Repair and maintain diesel engines and components used in various vehicles and equipment.
• Diagnose complex diesel engine issues accurately and efficiently, and perform necessary repairs.
• Communicate effectively with peers, foremen, and the service team regarding repairs.
• Ensure quality control to maximize customer satisfaction.
• Keep documentation updated and submit upon completion.
• Meet certification requirements.

Requirements:

• Valid Driver's license (CDL bonus)
• Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and reliability.
• Excellent understanding of Detroit Diesel engines, especially GHG17 products.
• Experience with other diesel platforms like Cummins, CAT, International is a plus.
• Additional mechanical skills such as hydraulics, brakes, suspension, manual and automatic transmissions are desirable.
• Ability to lift and work physically without restrictions.
• Technical degree or certification is a plus.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
