Qualifications

• RN CAP 1 is an entry level designation into the Clinical Advancement Program (CAP).
• Provides and coordinates clinically competent care including assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Performs essential functions under supervision.
• Monitors and documents patient data during hemodialysis.
• Educates patients and family on learning needs.
• Directs daily delivery of hemodialysis therapy with staff collaboration.
• Administers medications per protocol and documents effectiveness.
• Participates in emergency response measures.
• Assists with staff training and orientation.
• Ensures proper lab collection and processing.
