Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an entry-level Registered Nurse (CAP 1) at the Southtown dialysis clinic in Bloomington, MN. The RN will assess and coordinate care for patients undergoing hemodialysis, document data, and collaborate with the care team to deliver safe, effective therapy.

On-the-job training is provided; experience in nephrology is preferred but not required. The role includes responsibilities for education, documentation, and participation in quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current state RN license and CPR/BLS certification.
• Entry-level RN with less than 2 years of Nephrology nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient assessments and coordinates care with the team.
• Documents dialysis treatment data and adjusts care plan as needed.
• Provides patient and family education on treatment and transplant options.
• Directs care delivery with RN/tech team under supervision.
• Assists with emergencies and quality improvement activities.
