Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen or resident alien.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Equivalent combination of education, experience, and training may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Observes and monitors activities within the detention facility.
• Maintains logs and records of inmate activity.
• Conducts searches for contraband and controls inmate movement.
• Performs head counts and manages lockdowns.
• Escorts inmates to appointments and transports as needed.
• Prepares reports, conducts investigations, and maintains property inventory.
