Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Ensure security and safety of inmates; supervise and respond to alarms; provide information to inmates.
• Monitor intake, cell searches, and confinement; maintain inmate accounts and records.
• Provide daily living needs; supervise meals, recreation, and commissary; assist in cafeteria/laundry as needed.
• Transport inmates; escort them; maintain control at all times.
• Maintain visitor control; conduct searches for contraband; coordinate with staff.
• Document operations; prepare reports; file forms and data for department records.
