Job summary

Milestone Technologies, Inc. is seeking an Entry Level Data Center Technician in Richmond, VA to support the installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of servers, networking equipment, and cabling.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, ability to travel to data centers onsite, and strong communication skills. Onsite Monday–Friday 8am to 5pm with PPE and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to travel onsite in own vehicle to supported data center locations.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
• Self-motivated with attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Able to lift at least 50 pounds and wear PPE for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Support installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of servers, networking equipment, and cabling.
• Work with Data Center Leads to ensure reliability and performance of data center operations.
• Assist with inventory management and cross-functional collaboration to maintain accurate systems.
• Perform hardware replacement tasks such as drives, RAM, motherboards, and related components.

Education
