Expedient is hiring an entry-level IT Support Associate in Memphis, TN. The role offers fully paid training, certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+ etc.), and hands-on exposure to virtualization, networking, data protection, Windows, Linux/Unix, and data center infrastructure.

The position operates on-site in the Expedient data center, with a clear path to growth through professional development and paid certifications. Competitive pay and a shift premium are included.

Qualifications

• Experience with IT and technology through self-study, technical school or work experience.
• On-the-job training covers the technology and Expedient business context.
• Ability to handle client-facing responsibilities with professionalism and patience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and analytical problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Handle Tier 1 tickets, daily shift walks and routine audits.
• Follow security protocols for data-center access requests.
• Enforce security protocols when required by clients or contracts.
• Follow shipping/receiving procedures for secure transport of materials.
• Cover front desk phone and conduct physical/virtual security checks.
• Process and prioritize technical requests via phone, email or in person.
• Log requests and activities in the ticketing system with documentation.
