PGTEK Academy is hiring an Entry-Level Data Center Deployment Technician to support enterprise and AI data centers nationwide. You will gain hands-on experience installing racks, cabling, and hardware while traveling to customer sites across the United States.

Ideal candidates bring a mechanical aptitude, strong work ethic, and team orientation. Military experience is strongly encouraged, and no prior data center experience is required.

Qualifications

• Military veterans encouraged to apply and considered for the program.
• Willingness to travel 60–70% nationwide and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
• No prior data center experience required; a strong work ethic and attitude matter.

Responsibilities

• Install and assemble server racks and related equipment.
• Rack and stack servers, storage, and networking hardware.
• Perform hardware swaps and component replacements.
• Manage cables, labeling, and rack placement.
• Assist with inventory tracking and deployment documentation.
• Travel to customer data centers across the United States.
