Job summary

NANA is seeking an entry-level Customer Service Representative I for its local office in Alaska. You will handle front counter duties, calls, and digital messages, process payments, and assist with basic service orders and billing inquiries.

The role requires strong cash handling and data entry skills, along with excellent communication to maintain high customer satisfaction. On-site work, on-call nights and weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of customer service experience (retail, front office, or call center).
• Strong accuracy in cash handling and data entry; proficient with standard office software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and patient demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in person, over the phone, and online; address basic inquiries and route complex questions.
• Process payments (cash, check, credit card, ACH) and balance cash drawer daily; prepare deposits.
• Create, update, and close service orders; coordinate scheduling with field technicians for timely service.
• Create and close trouble tickets; coordinate with technicians for timely resolution and handle billing questions.
• Maintain up-to-date customer accounts; update contact info and service addresses as needed.
• Document all interactions in the CRM/billing system and escalate issues as necessary.
• Support general office operations with daily reports and filing; assist with outreach events when assigned.
• On-call work during nights, weekends, and holidays; perform other duties as assigned.
