Job summary

NANA Net seeks an entry-level Customer Service Representative I to be the first point of contact for local communities. You will handle front counter duties, calls, and digital messages; process payments; assist with service orders and billing inquiries; and update customer records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of customer service experience.
• Strong accuracy in cash handling and data entry; proficient with standard office software (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly, patient demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist customers in person, over the phone, and via online chat/email; direct complex questions to the appropriate resources.
• Process customer payments (cash, check, credit card, ACH) and balance the cash drawer daily; prepare bank deposits.
• Create, update and close service orders; coordinate with field technicians to ensure on-time service completion.
• Create, update and close trouble tickets; provide billing assistance and resolve routine inquiries; escalate complex issues as needed.
• Maintain up-to-date customer account information; perform routine updates or corrections as required.
• Document all customer interactions in the CRM/billing system and ensure follow-up on pending issues; escalate technical issues to senior staff when needed.
• Support office operations by generating daily payment and service-order reports; assist with local outreach events as needed.
