Job summary

American Refining Group, Inc. seeks a Customer Service Representative I to support order entry, shipping coordination, and customer inquiries. This entry-level role communicates with customers via fax, phone, email, and EDI, entering orders accurately and tracking DIFOT.

You will learn ARG systems with coaching and contribute to a team focused on reliable service. Qualified candidates have 0–2 years in customer service, basic MS Office skills, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Zero to two years of experience in customer service or related field.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and basic data entry.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Demonstrate basic problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to learn ARG systems and business processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic order entry and data processing in company systems.
• Schedule freight and coordinate routine shipment activities.
• Complete DIFOT tracking and reporting.
• Respond to routine customer inquiries regarding order status and shipments.
• Follow established procedures and communication guidelines.
• Escalate non-routine issues to the appropriate team member.
