Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Maryland LLC in Brunswick, MD is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers with questions, manage sales at the register, and help stock shelves while keeping areas neat and safe.

This role requires strong customer service, good communication, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Prior retail or service experience is preferred; high school diploma or equivalent is desired.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store experience preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and read operating documents.
• Physical ability to lift 30–50 lbs and perform repetitive tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and colleagues.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms and floors.
