Job summary

Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma in Durant is hiring an Entry Level Cook 1 across multiple dining venues. This FT role offers $15/hr, variable schedules, including weekends and holidays, to help you start your culinary career and gain hands-on kitchen experience under the Sous Chef.

You will work in high-volume, professional kitchens across venues like Grand Cafe, Salt & Stone, Guy Fieri's American Kitchen + Bar, and more.

Qualifications

• 6 months of culinary experience or equivalent education/experience.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients (wash, chop, slice, peel, etc.)
• Cook using grill, fry, bake, steam, braise, boil
• Season, garnish, and present food attractively
• Follow recipes and prep methods
• Taste samples before service to ensure quality
• Maintain proper storage, labeling, rotation
• Follow food safety and sanitation standards

Requirements

What You'll Do
