Job summary

Peoples Bank in Marietta, OH seeks a Consumer Credit Analyst I to underwrite consumer loan applications from branch and dealer networks. You will analyze financial condition, credit history, employment, and collateral to arrive at sound loan decisions that follow policy and regulations.

This role requires accuracy, collaboration with collections for workouts, and the ability to train staff on lending guidelines. Hours are Mon-Fri 8:00 am–7:00 pm and Sat 8:00 am–5:00 pm.

Qualifications

Associates degree or equivalent work experience required.
Bachelor’s degree in business or finance preferred.

Responsibilities

Underwrite a high volume of consumer loan applications from branch and dealer networks.
Evaluate applicant characteristics including financial condition, credit report, employment history, residence history and collateral.
Analyze consumer financial documents or tax returns to establish ability to repay.
Approve loans within established authority and assess exceptions.
Maintain knowledge of internal and external policies affecting lending.
