Job summary

Fessler & Bowman seeks an entry-level Project Safety Professional 1 to support safety programs across construction sites in Charlotte, NC. You will receive guidance from the Safety Manager and Project Manager to complete tasks and maintain a safe workplace.

Ideal candidates hold OSHA 510/OSHA 30, 0–2 years safety experience, and are bilingual (English/Spanish). A valid driver’s license and CPR/First Aid certification are preferred; travel is required.

Qualifications

• OSHA 510 certification required.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.
• 0-2 years safety experience preferred.
• Bilingual English and Spanish preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• CPR/first aid certified.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation of the site-wide safety program and provide technical guidance.
• Performing job hazard analyses (JHAs) and safety inspections.
• Instruct safety courses and coordinate training sessions.
• Engage line supervisors to ensure compliance with safety policies on-site.
• Document and report safety performance metrics and near-misses.
