Job summary

Haskell in Jacksonville, FL is seeking an entry-level project management position to support project managers and the Operations Manager in steel shop fabrication and related projects.

You will participate in management training programs, gain exposure to company tools, standards, and procedures, and contribute to project planning and client communications as directed by senior staff.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the construction industry, including methods and safety.
• Ability to monitor resources, budgets, and schedules under multiple demands.
• Excellent organizational, communication, collaboration and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and qualify subcontractors and vendors for assigned scopes of work.
• Prepare detailed estimates and cost codes for initial cost control reporting.
• Update progress schedules and plan construction operations.
• Communicate with clients, provide periodic reports and handle change orders.
• Process submittals and maintain related logs (RFI, submittal).
• Assist with project close-out requirements, punch lists, and inspections.
• Travel as required.
• Perform other duties as needed.
