Qualifications

• 1-2 years of construction/ sheet metal/industry experience.
• 1-2 years of contract administrative experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• High school diploma required.
• Candidate should be detail oriented, computer savvy, and a team player.
• Ability to adapt to frequent changes and handle interruptions with a positive attitude.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy and thoroughness.

Responsibilities

• Assist project managers with daily tasks and responsibilities.
• Set up jobs including preparing job site binders for foreman.
• Print construction documents, drawings, specifications, etc.
• Review shop drawings against contract drawings and standards.
• Perform equipment counts to match vendor quotes and submittals.
• Read specifications and create construction standards.
• Review updated contract documents for change requests.
• Participate in on-site visits and inspections to monitor progress.
• Develop equipment list logs for warranty and close-out purposes.
• Prepare typical duct and duct accessory submittals.
• Provide backup support on jobs such as typing, faxing, filing or scanning.
