Job summary

NOVA Engineering is seeking full-time Construction Materials Testing / Engineering Technicians in our Raleigh, NC office. WE WILL TRAIN!

Responsibilities include field testing of soil, concrete, asphalt, aggregate, and masonry materials; review of blueprints for field observations; documentation of activities and testing results; and communication of findings with project teams and clients. The company offers training and a Credential Incentive Program to support certifications across materials

Qualifications

• Field testing of soil, concrete, asphalt, aggregate, and masonry mortar/grout according to specs.
• Documentation of field activities and testing results.
• Communication of results with project staff, contractors and clients.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and to lift equipment.

Responsibilities

• Field testing of soil, concrete, asphalt, aggregate, and masonry materials.
• Review blueprints and prepare field observations.
• Document testing results and ensure conformance with plans.
• Calibrate and operate field and lab equipment.
