Job summary

Terracon is seeking an entry-level Field Technician to support field and laboratory testing, observation, and inspection of construction materials in Colorado. You will prepare data and reports, transport samples, maintain equipment, and communicate results to the Project Manager.

Under supervision, you will gain experience in testing soils, aggregates, concrete, asphalt, and steel, while adhering to safety standards and company procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 6 months experience required.
• A valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history may be required.

Responsibilities

• Under close supervision, assist on tasks and perform basic testing and observations duties.
• Provide clear documentation of findings and results.
• Communicate information to Project Manager and discuss accuracy of data for submittal.
• Submit documentation and communicate results as directed by the Project Manager.
• Maintain assigned equipment and safety standards.
