Job summary

American Structurepoint, Inc. is seeking an entry-level Construction Inspector in Cleveland, OH. You will support transportation and utility projects by reviewing plans, observing field activities, tracking progress, and performing basic material testing.

You will collaborate with contractors and project teams, prepare daily field reports, and help ensure compliance with specifications and industry standards.

Qualifications

• Recent or soon-to-be graduate with a degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation to office/project locations.
• Ability to work in extreme temperatures and perform physical activities (lifting, bending, walking).

Responsibilities

• Observe and document construction activities to ensure plans, specs, and standards are followed.
• Coordinate with contractors, design teams, utility providers, and stakeholders to keep projects on track.
• Prepare detailed daily field reports with measurements and calculations for progress tracking and payments.
• Perform on-site material testing (soil sampling, compaction, concrete testing) to verify quality.
• Document, report, and collaborate using Microsoft Office, Appia, SiteManager and BlueBeam.
