Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent ABET/ACCE program required.
• Current PE license required.
• 15+ years of transportation/utility infrastructure inspection experience required.
• Extensive knowledge of ODOT standards; prequalification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect transportation and utility construction to verify conformance with standards.
• Coordinate between contractors, designers, utilities and residents.
• Prepare daily reports and field measurements for payment quantities.
• Perform material sampling and testing as applicable.
• Prepare pay estimates and change orders for client approval.
• Assist with problem identification and viable solutions.
• Review construction documents for constructability and provide feedback.
• Respond to RFIs from contractors.
• Represent the firm at meetings and lead client coordination; prepare minutes.
• Utilize Microsoft Office, Appia, AASHTOWare and BlueBeam.
