Qualifications

• Student majoring in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Construction Engineering, Land Survey or Structural Engineering, or related programs with emphasis on Civil Engineering.
• Reliable transportation to and from office/project location.
• Willing to learn, adapt, and work in varying conditions.

Responsibilities

• Inspect construction work on transportation and utility infrastructure projects to document conformity to standards and specifications.
• Assist in coordination between contractors, designers, utilities, and local residents.
• Complete and maintain records of field observations, including daily reports and measurements for payment eligibility.
• Perform material sampling and testing on applicable materials such as soil, compaction, and concrete tests.
• Utilize Microsoft Office, Appia, SiteManager and BlueBeam.
• Other duties as assigned.
