Gregory-Poole Equipment Company seeks an apprentice technician to learn routine mechanical repairs on construction equipment. You will study safety practices, perform diagnostic steps, and assist with disassembly/reassembly using hand and power tools.

The role involves hands-on training with Caterpillar information systems, documentation, and collaboration with senior technicians to complete repair work and shop duties.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school education or GED.
• Mechanically inclined with basic knowledge from schooling or work experience.
• Ability to read repair manuals and follow written instructions.
• Cognitive reasoning and problem-solving to apply knowledge to repair/servicing tasks.

Responsabilités

• Learn and perform routine mechanical repairs on construction equipment.
• Learn and apply safety practices and PPE usage in shop operations.
• Learn and utilize Caterpillar information systems to assist diagnostics, troubleshooting and parts ordering.
• Disassemble/reassemble equipment using hand and power tools, and assist with larger repairs.
