Job summary

Gregory Poole Equipment Company seeks an experienced field service technician to independently repair material handling equipment in customer sites. You will perform service, preventive maintenance, repairs, replacements, and rebuilds to restore operation.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting using manuals, loading parts, and conducting safety checks in the field, with the ability to move parts and operate service vehicles as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school education or GED.
• Six years of field service experience with material handling equipment.
• Experience with Hyster, Yale, Clark or similar equipment; proficient in multiple mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Review work schedule and prepare parts and PPE as required.
• Troubleshoot engines, fuel systems, transmissions and other components using manuals and diagrams.
• Load service truck with necessary parts and equipment for field repairs.
• Use lift trucks, hoists and helpers to move parts and equipment.
• Use hand and power tools to disassemble/re-assemble and test components.
